Oktoberfest is now over for another year...
Everyone who attended had a fabulous time! If you didn't get to go, make a point of it for next year. You don't want to miss it!

'THE BEERBARRELS' WERE BACK!
These guys were such a hit last year! So... "by popular demand"... The Beerbarrels returned this year to entertain us. Some folks have told us they want them back next year, too!

THE BAVARIAN FEAST - a different chef this year!
The Genuine Bavarian menu that this year's chef - Chef Carol Gabrieau of Smitty's Restaurant n Osoyoos - created for this year's Oktoberfest dinner was fabulous! Everyone raved about it. Check it out...

RAFFLE
We held a raffle this year! Tickets were just $2.00 each - on a very cool home beer maker kit, valued at approximately $140.00!. It was donated to us by the kind and generous people at our very own Home Hardware here in Osoyoos.

The winner of the Beer Machine was Bruce Mayer from St. Albert, Alberta.
There were two other prizes, too! They were:
- A Demi-Case (6 bottles) of Golden Beaver Wine, won by Wayne Sargent of Osoyoos, and
- A Wine Gift Basket (one bottle of wine and two wine glasses in a basket) won by Ron Trottier of Osoyoos.
...both of those prizes were donated by The Golden Beaver Winery..

DOOR PRIZES AND A 50/50 DRAW
As usual, we drew for door prizes, and held a 50/50 draw. The winners of the 50/50 were Larry and Joanne Rowden from Hannah, Alberta, Art and Sonia Barakkas from Fort St. John, B.C., who shared the pot of $133!
DANCE THE NIGHT AWAY!
The Beerbarrels played such great German music that nobody could hardly sit still! Some of us danced to almost every tune! We had sore feet the next day, but it was soooo worth it!
